Single & Multitenant Buildings on same campus

We have a multibuilding campus with 3 buildings total. 2 of the buildings have 1 single tenant and the 3rd building is multitenant. The single tenant buildings will have access to the shared amenities in the multitenant building, how do we measure the single tenant buildings to incorporate the add-on factor for the amenities?

Hi Andrea,

It doesn't really make a difference under BOMA 2017 Office if a building is single tenant or multi-tenant. In order to proportionately allocate certain common areas across multiple buildings, you will need to use Inter-Building Area calculations, which can be found in the Advanced Concepts section of the standard.

Thanks,
David
