Parking Floor Elevators Lobby

Ignacio V

What features should a lobby at the parking level have to be considered as building service area?

Could a lobby that is not delimited by walls or changes in floor level be considered as Building Service Area?

Hi Igancio,

There is no requirement that there be physical walls separating the lobby from parking area but ideally there should be some other logical feature separating the areas from each other, such as a change in floor materials, etc.

Thanks,
David
