Storage spaces

Hi! Our building has rooms that are leased for storage in the 2 upper/penthouse floors next to some building service rooms. These storage spaces are unfinished, but have windows and HVAC. How do I calculate these areas(where to input them in the spreadsheet) in order to get a rentable sqft load factor/ rentable area? I am using BOMA 2017 Method A.
I understand that the standard says they are Rentable Exclusions but the LL is alerady charging for them. I need to account them...
Thanks a lot!

Hi Marilyn,

The rooms should be Rentable Exclusions / Occupant Storage but they are still accounted for and documented in the Global Summary of Areas under BOMA 2017 Office. They can be leased out based on their raw usable area as no gross-up is applied to them.

Thanks,
David
