What is the Proper Measuring Distance from the Floor

I've read through the 2010 standard several times. Where to draw the lines to determine the IGA boundary is quite clear, nowhere is it listed at what height (if any) above the floor the measurements be taken?

Hi Michel,

In most cases, there is no particular height to measure to. Most of the time you are measuring to the "Dominant Portion", which is the vertically dominant inside finished surface of the exterior enclosure. There are some exceptions as outlined in Section 4, IGA Boundary Conditions.

Thanks,
David
