Enclosed or not enclosed space?

Hello,

I have an Industrial use single occupant building in Seattle. I am using Method A Exterior Enclosure.

There is a Shed to the north that is used for storage and welding. The shed had a sheet metal canopy with a chain link fence and is open to the elements. I have concluded that this area should not be included in the Exterior Gross Area. Can you confirm?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Sophia,

Under Method A, the shed would not be included in the Exterior Gross Area.

Thanks,
David
