Will the BOMA Mixed Use Properties standard be updated soon?

Now that the Z65.1 Office standard has been updated to 2017, will the Mixed Use Properties been updated to reflect the changes? Is there a timeline for other BOMA standards to be updated as well? Thank you.

Hi Myer,

The entire suite of BOMA standards are currently under development. The Gross Areas standard will be published next, followed by the Industrial Standard and then Retail. The Mixed-Use standard is currently scheduled to be completed last, but as Vice Chairman of the BOMA Floor Measurement Committee, I am suggesting that we update the Mixed-Use standard sooner. Even so, it will most likely be at least a year until it is updated. Feel free to contact BOMA International directly and request for the Mixed-Use standard to be updated sooner.
