Tambours and Lift Lobbies on a Single Occupant Floor.

BOMA 2017, Method A, Single Occupant Floor.

Please advise the proper Space Classification for:
1. auxillary lift lobby (lift for fire brigades which is used occasionally by Occupant for delivery goods necessary for office use) and 2. stair tambours separated by doors from the stair.

The Tenant has exclusive use of these areas but these areas are not suitable for personnel, equipment, furniture, etc. They are suitable only for circulation.

Thank you for your answer and brilliant illustrations for the new BOMA 2017 Office Standard!

Hi Ilia,

If the area is exclusively used by a tenant and not necessary to the operation of the building then the areas should be allocated to Tenant Area.

Thanks,
