Drawing measurement tolerances (accuracy)

Hi,

I would like to know if there are any best practices on drawing measurement tolerances on a given distance. For example, 20mm on a 30m distance. Do you know if there are any industry standards adressing this topic?

Thank you,

Marie Desaulniers

Hi Marie,

The short answer is no. There are no industry standards addressing the topic of accuracy. BOMA does not get involved with such issues. There are some best practice articles that touch on the subject though, which can be found here:

Thanks,
