Did the description and definition of
"Calculating Store Area" have any changes between
1996 and 2006?

The last, official version of the Standard was published in 1996. There were no changes to any definitions between 1996 and 2006.

The upcoming BOMA 2010 is a significant reworking of the Standard and there are many changes to definitions and methodology.
