Mixed use Parking

Page 6 of the Mixed Use standard - item 2. Parking Component-
...."Parking that is used exclusively by a single use component is part of that use component and not a parking component....."
In this scenario, would that parking now become part of that use components rentable floor area? This seems unclear how to distribute this space .

Single use component refers to a situation whereby the parking is exclusively used by a certain portion of the mixed-use building, such as the office component. In the office standard, parking area is identified and calculated but it is excluded from the rentable area of the building.

In a mixed-use building (office and retail for example) which has a parking structure that is used exclusively for the office tenants, the parking area would appear exclusively in the office area chart.
