Mechanical Room
A Mechanical Room typically houses a building’s HVAC, electrical, or plumbing equipment. In BOMA standards, these are typically classified as Building Service Areas if they serve the entire building, or Floor Service Areas if they only serve a specific floor, and are allocated via the load factor.
