Inside Finished Surface
The Inside Finished Surface is the innermost part of an exterior wall or permanent partition that faces the interior of a room or suite. In modern BOMA Standards, this surface is the primary boundary line for measuring rentable area, replacing "Dominant Portion" rule found in older standards.
