Gross Building Area
Gross Building Area (GBA) is a BOMA term that pre-dates the release of the BOMA Gross Areas of a Building Standard. GBA is the total constructed area of an office or building, measured to the outside face of the exterior walls. It includes all floors of a building as well as structured parking, mechanical penthouses, and basements.
