Floor Service Area

Floor Service Area refers to the shared spaces on a specific floor that provide services to the occupants of that floor only, such as shared restrooms, electrical closets, and janitorial rooms. Under BOMA standards, these areas are distributed proportionately among the tenants of that floor and contribute to the floor-level load factor. Floor Service Area and Floor Amenity areas replace the concept of Floor Common Area in legacy standards.
