Balcony

A Balcony is an exterior, unenclosed elevated platform projecting from the wall of a building, usually enclosed with a railing or balustrade. It is intended for use by building occupants and provides sufficient barriers and strength for temporary occupancy. In BOMA measurement standards, balconies are typically classified as Unenclosed Areas or Tenant Ancillary Areas and may be included in rentable area calculations depending on the specific standard and lease agreement.
