Canopies

Hello,

I would like to know if canopies are included in usable area for retails (2010)?

I have a second floor of a retail space which has the canopy.
I wonder if I should exclude the canopy and just calculate the usable area until exterior of the wall exterior or if I should calculate it until canopies limit.

The area under non-structural canopies are excluded in the standard.
