Roof top deck seating areas

A building a looking to convert the 2nd floor roof top to a usable seating areas for the tenant of the building. Can this be counted as building amenity area?

Hello,

Under BOMA 2010, the rooftop area cannot be included as rentable area. However, the new BOMA 2017 office standard does include finished rooftop terraces as rentable area.
