Hi,

I've been asked to give an over all area and room areas for individual units in a Multi-Residential unit with 12 units (shared stairwells and elevator shaft). I hear this is different than a single residential unit, would someone be able to help direct me as to if I measure from center line to center line of walls (applies to both exterior (entire area) and interior (walls within the external walls)) or interior to interior other than the partially shared wall between units?

Thank you

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

You should purchase the BOMA 2010 Multi-Res Standard from www.boma.org.

Thanks,
