Why does B. in Section 3 say to measure voids?

Hi Keith,

I would say that is an inconsistency in the Standard. This will be resolved in the next version of the Gross Areas Standard due next year. In any event, it is clear according to the standard that VOIDS are not included in EGA or CGA. Whether you measure the void and deduct it from the CGA or EGA or not measure the VOID at all, your results will be the same.

Thanks,
