Parking vs Major Vertical Penetration

Has anyone asked about measuring parking lot surfaces to major vertical penetrations? What is the Wall Priority between those two space classifications?

Major Vertical Penetrations take the far side of the wall.

Applies to enclosed parking only.

Hi David. I wish to understand you correctly: Are you saying that If I were to measure to a wall with MVP on one side of a wall and Parking Lot on the other side of the same wall, then measurements need to be landed on the Parking Lot side of that wall?

Hi Evris,

I apologize if I wasn't clear. In such a case, the area of the Major Vertical Penetration (MVP) would include the entire thickness of the wall that is shared with the parking area. The wall priority goes to the MVP.

Thanks,
