Standard Population

I am working on a revitalization project and one ask is to outline the best retail, commercial and residential mix as well as rental rates that could be supported by the surrounding population. Is there a guide that explicitly states "minimums" in terms of population, income, etc. that must be met to be able to support various types of commercial, retail or residential construction? Then separately, be used to calculate rates?

Hi Sarah,

The BOMA measurement standards do not address the issue of rental rates at all. The standards are strictly concerned with the measurement of area in various building types.
