Hi, I have a question. Yesterday I was in a 4 level townhouse. The enterence was a small landing with a set of stairs to the main level. When counting the stairs, I basically count the sqft twice, correct? Thanks so very much!!

Hi Russ,

The BOMA Multi-Unit Residential Standard does not address single unit homes, duplex or triplex residential buildings, townhomes, row houses or cluster houses.

The Standard is intended for multi-storey residential apartments and condominiums. BOMA does not publish a current standard for the type of dwelling you are describing.
